Ducournau is doing her thing again - her ALPHA has already managed to make a fuss at festivals around the world. Some walk out of the screening, others give a standing ovation. Reviewers are outdoing themselves in shuffling: body horror, psychological drama, dark romance.

What is the film about? Alpha, a 13-year-old with problems is raised by only her mother. Their world falls apart the day the girl returns from school with a tattoo on her arm. It's also a story about crossing boundaries, power and things that gentlemen don't talk about at the dinner table. It's a film that polarizes, makes you uncomfortable and stays under your skin long after the screening.
Yes, we are proud of it. Someone has to bring such films to theaters.
